Free Resources to Help Children Learn About the Annunciation

The Annunciation is one of the most hope filled, joyful and beautiful moments in our Catholic faith.  The Angel Gabriel  comes to visit Mary and tells her that she is blessed among all women and that is to be the mother of our Lord, Jesus Christ.  Next to Jesus, Mary is the epitome of obedience undertaking one of THE most important roles in history displaying humility and trust in God.  It is such an important event that it is the designated First Mystery, the beginning point,  of the Rosary.  It is also of this wondrous occurrence, as well as the Visitation, that the beautiful Hail Mary  or Ave Maria prayer speaks.
