Activities to Teach Kids About The Holy Rosary
We can learn about the life of Our Lord, Jesus Christ, and his mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary, through examining and praying the Holy Rosary. The Rosary is an ancient devotion. In the early 1200s, St. Dominic used the Rosary in his missionary work to bring people to Christianity and to convert sinners. Using these activities to teach kids about the Holy Rosary helps them to remember the most important events in the life of Jesus and Mary. These events are called Mysteries. The Mysteries are grouped uniquely, and they are prayed one at a time.

Selecting a Rosary for Kids
Anyone can learn to use a rosary, and the right one can be a fantastic tool to bring ease and joy to this most beautiful devotion, which focuses on the life of Christ. The traditional cord of beads allows users to focus on praying and meditating rather than on counting or tracking a multitude of prayers. Rosaries can be very simple or quite intricate; they can also vary in style, construction, and price. You could easily be overwhelmed at the selection of rosaries offered online or at your local religious store, but there are a few things to keep in mind when selecting a rosary for that will be used by children.
