Try the 10 Thoughts on Holy Week as a Fun Icebreaker.
Start a discussion about the days leading up to Easter in your next youth group meeting, CCD, or Religious Education class by using the 10 Thoughts on Holy Week Worksheet. This fun group activity not only encourages reflection on the Holy Week and Triduum but it can promote group sharing as well.
10 Thoughts on Holy Week Worksheet
In this activity, students complete ten statements about Holy Week, including the meaning and significance of the week as well as Palm Sunday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and the importance of Christ's resurrection. A writing prompt of a few words begins each sentence for participants. Because students may have different answers, this activity can serve as an icebreaker activity or a way to start a class discussion. It is also an excellent youth or small-group sharing activity as well.
