Encourage Kids to Reflect on Christ's Passion and Death with the 6 Words to Describe Good Friday Worksheet.
Use the 6 Words to Describe Good Friday Worksheet to help some learners think about Christ's love for us and His suffering and death for our sake. This worksheet features a thematic graphic as the main emphasis (noun) in the square. Learners need only to think of six different words or phrases to describe some facet of Good Friday. Some examples could include the Cross, crucified, suffer, sad, pain, crown of thorns, died, 3 pm, or nails. The words or phrases should fit the student age group. Because this activity is flexible, some students may want to draw pictures instead of writing.
The 6 Words to Describe Good Friday Worksheet can be used as an ice breaker for a Religious Education class or another gathering. It is also appropriate to use during Holy Week.
This file includes two versions of the 6 Words to Describe Good Friday Worksheet. There is one in grayscale and another in color.
Some may want to use this worksheet in conjunction with our Good Friday Learning Card. This reference learning card has matching graphics and information that some students may find useful.
