Even the Littlest of Things Can Be Used to Teach the Faith.

Use this worksheet to help children think about the shamrock not only as a plant but as a symbol or teaching aid to the Trinity. With a simple black-and-white graphic as the main emphasis (noun) in the oval, learners need only to think of eight different words to describe this little ground covering plant, which has become synonymous with St. Patrick and the Trinity.

Examples could be: Trinity, plant, green, St. Patrick’s Day, St. Patrick, Ireland, God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, Trinitarian, and so forth. Words should fit the student age group.

This sheet is designed for individual or classroom use and may be especially useful when introducing a lesson on the Holy Trinity or St. Patrick.
