Celebrate the Lord's Resurrection with the Easter Sunday Cryptogram Puzzle Worksheet.
The Easter Sunday Cryptogram Puzzle Worksheet can help children become more familiar with the details of Easter Sunday morning. This cryptogram activity focuses on the interaction between the women who go to visit Christ's tomb and the angels who are present in the empty burial place. It focuses on the Gospel of Luke 24:5-6.
To complete this worksheet, students must substitute one letter for another using the alphabet and the unique code provided at the bottom of the page. In doing this, the question that the angel asked the women will be revealed. The finished puzzle reads, "Why seek you the living with the dead? He is not here, but is risen." An answer sheet provides the phrases as well.
This worksheet may be especially useful when teaching young Catholics about Easter, Easter Sunday, or some of the roles of angels.
