Encourage Catholic Children to Celebrate Epiphany.
Help young children to remember that the Magi were guided to the Holy Family by a star that shone in the sky. The medallion features the three Wise Men following the star of Bethlehem and the phrase, "Follow the star!" It was inspired by the Gospel of St. Matthew 2:1-12.
Each page contains two identical medals one in color and the other in grayscale, which may be colored by the students. Simply cut the medallions out, punch a hole at the top where indicated and thread the hole with a piece of yarn (about 18-20 inches long). Write the name of the recipient in the space provided.
This lesson is very appropriate to use during a lesson on the Solemnity of the Epiphany.
