Help Children Learn How to Awe and Respect for God's House, the Church.
This colorful printable has four identical cards per sheet. The card contains a how-to list of helpful ways to assist children in learning how to care for and protect God's house based on John 2:13-17. (This passage highlights Jesus driving the money changers from the Temple.)
To create the cards, simply print off the sheet, cut apart the cards, fold on the dotted line, glue to finish. Cards may be laminated for a polished look, if desired.
The text of this card includes the following ideas:
-Remember that a church is God’s home.
-Behave respectfully and reverently inside a Catholic church because Jesus is there in the tabernacle.
-Follow the rules and signs posted inside and outside my church or parish hall.
-Treat fellow parishioners and visitors to the church with kindness.
This card matches the Gospel reading for the third Sunday of Lent in liturgical cycle B.
