Teach Young Catholics That We Are All Called to Be Merciful to Others.
Encourage children to understand that God forgives us and expects us to forgive others. This little card provides simple ways to help us to want to forgive others. It is inspired by Christ's parable of the prodigal son in the Gospel of St. Luke 15:11-32.
The card presents the following details:
-Follow Jesus’ example to forgive everyone.
-Show others that I love them, even if I don’t think they deserve it.
-Ask God for help loving and forgiving others.
This resource features four identical cards per sheet. Simply cut apart cards and fold on the dotted lines. Glue flaps together to close. Finished cards may be laminated for longevity and a very polished look.
This printable may be helpful and appropriate to use when teaching about God's mercy, forgiving others, the Parable of the Prodigal Son, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, or to celebrate the Fourth Sunday in Lent (Cycle C).
