Get the Gospel! Trading Card on How to Fight Temptation
Teach Young Catholics Using the Fun Get the Gospel! Trading Card on How to Fight Temptation.
Encourage children to learn ways to fight temptation. This little Get the Gospel! Trading Card on How to Fight Temptation uses a non-threatening image of the devil in the desert and provides tools to fight his advances. It is inspired by Mark 1:12-13, Christ's temptation in the desert.
The Get the Gospel! Trading Card on How to Fight Temptation presents the following details:
-Ask my Guardian Angel for help every day.
-Go to Confession regularly.
-Attend Holy Mass to be strengthened by Jesus in the Holy Eucharist.
-Avoid anything that makes me want to sin.
-Stop! If I am tempted to commit a sin, I must stop what I am doing - even if it means disappointing someone else.
This resource features four identical cards per sheet. Make the cards by cutting them apart on the solid lines and folding them on the dotted lines. Glue flaps together to close. Laminate finished pieces for longevity and a very polished look.
