Create Your Own Library at Home
Use this three-page kit to allow kids to role play going to a library or simply to create or organize your own collection of books.
This kit includes the following resources.
- A sheet of eight colorful library cards to print off for members of your library
- A sheet of four book info cards to print as needed to keep track of "borrowed" books
- Printable book pocket sheet to hold info cards in the books, if desired
Feel free to hold cards in an index card box once they have been checked out, and then replace them in the books once the item has been returned. Using an ink pad and a date stamp can add to the fun of the library as well as better track books that are out to members.
This is a fun home project and works very well with small soft cover books such as phonics or science readers or the Fr. Lovasik catechetical series.
