Celebrate the Catholic Faith Throughout January!

Encourage children to learn about and take part in the feasts, memorials, and celebrations of the Catholic Church throughout January. Bright colors and clear text invite readers to take note of the Sunday celebrations and other liturgical events of the month like the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord and the Solemnity of Mary, the Mother of God. And because we know kids love learning about the Saints, their feast days are listed. Some saint feast days listed include St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, St. John Bosco, and St. Francis de Sales.

A fun word cloud is used to remind readers that January is the Month dedicated to the Holy Name of Jesus. The Feast of the Holy Name of Jesus is celebrated on Jan. 3rd. The Scripture passage comes directly from the Gospel reading of the day.

Use either of the two versions, color or grayscale, provided in this January 2018 monthly calendar file.
