Have Fun and Learn About St. Therese of Lisieux
This activity can help introduce the Corporal Works of Mercy or the virtue of Kindness.
Children will help create an oversized bush of roses by coloring very large roses that also require three little acts of kindness to be noted on each flower. A simple wall template created from pieces of brown construction paper or paper shopping bags should be prepared ahead of time and affixed to a wall. (A single long piece of brown paper to represent a branch can work in a pinch.) As children complete their paper roses, they should be affixed to the bush with tape rings. Sheets may be pre-cut ahead of time or included as part of the activity.
Note: An alternate coloring sheet version is also included for those who would only like to use this as a worksheet instead of a game on the wall. Be sure to read the directions on the sheets to differentiate between the versions.
An instruction sheet is provided in this download.
