Help Your Child Learn About the Liturgical Season of Lent with This Fun and Easy Mini-Book.
This printable Lenten mini-book has prompts that can be answered by learners as they put their thoughts and creativity to work illustrating, writing, or both. This book has eight pages, including a title and end page. Print out, fill in, cut apart and staple together. Glue onto our Mini-book Keepsake pages to create a library of your child's work or document their learning. Even advanced learners can use these little books for narration, defining terms, drawing diagrams, or just simple learning fun.
We encourage you to use resources you already have on hand or can easily access online or from your parish library to fill in the needed information.
As we share our faith with our children, we must keep in mind that it is only through love and practice that they will truly come to learn about their faith. With so many things to think about, practice and remember, children can get a bit overwhelmed at times. We are merely planting the little seed of love of the faith in their hearts, which we pray will grow and flourish over time. We must be patient and tender as we impart knowledge and wisdom to our learners.
This resource has been used quite successfully in CCD or Religious Education classes and can prove to be very valuable as a resource for focused review.
