Help the mermaids collect ocean treasures such as clams, starfish, sea horses and more when you practice correctly adding simple sums based on the number three.
Cut out pieces, glue them together, attach a paperclip and fish with a pole and magnet. Talk about learning fun!!
Any treasure the player catches and can correctly answer is kept.
As an added bonus, you can play another variation of learning fun with this game by keeping track of the treasures collected by graphing them with tally marks in a very simple pictograph style - one tally represents one treasure - treasure graphing sheet.
This treasure hunt based on the number three can easily be added with other treasure hunt games to vary problems and promote mastery of concepts. Additional sets can be printed out to allow for more practice as well. This game accommodates one to four players and can be played in a co-operative or competitive version. It can be a self-correcting game and complements the Montessori learning style very well.
