Prayer (PACT) F3 Activity

Prayer (PACT) F3 Activity Helps Children Learn About the Purposes of Prayer.

Teachers can use this cut and paste activity to teach children about four reasons for prayer. It focuses on petition, adoration, contrition, and thanksgiving. The Prayer (PACT) F3 Activity is a three-page resource that includes several pieces to be cut and glued to a base learning sheet. The completed sheet can be hole-punched and stored in a 3-ring binder for later reference. There are instructions in the download file.

Basic prayers are referenced in this Prayer (PACT) F3 Activity, including the Our Father, Glory Be, and Act of Contrition.
There are also references to prayers from the Mass—the Prayers of the Faithful, Sanctus (Holy, Holy, Holy), Penitential Rite, and the Gloria.

This F3 (Flip, Flap, Fold) activity is perfect for classroom use. There is another version of this lesson available, which uses the term supplication rather than petition.
