Printable Subject Study Labels (No Pixs)
Help Children Keep Track of What's Coming Up Next in Their Learning Day with These Functional Subject Labels.
Using labels is a fun and easy way to keep things organized; in the case of our Academic Subject Labels, they also teach time management skills. Teachers can use the Printable Subject Study Labels (No Pixs) to set up a loose (or tight) learning schedule.
How to Use the Printable Subject Study Labels (No Pixs)
Print the pages out, cut the subject cards apart on the lines, and then order according to the day's tasks. Laminate for durability and longevity if desired. Affix or attach the labels to a poster board, bulletin board, or use low-tack painter's tape on a wall and grid out the day for each child. As children gain more organizational experience, you may have them order their day according to their preferences. When learners complete the subjects, they can turn the pieces over as a sign of accomplishment.
It is remarkable how much more gets accomplished when children feel a bit more control over their learning. It doesn't need to be perfect, just fun!
As an alternative option to using a bulletin board, a fun option is to use the wall. Grid out the day with low-tack painter's tape and affix labels with blue mac-tack. This variation is super-simple and leaves no markings on the wall either. Kids have fun helping to move around the pieces and make their learning schedule too.
