Explore the Seven Sacraments One at a Time or as a Year-Long Project
F3 - Flip, Flap & Fold - Pieces are fun to use. They are small and non-threatening pieces that encourage children to ponder, question, and have fun exploring new ideas and topics. Whether they are thinking about being Catholic, the four evangelists or the seven sacraments, our F3 pieces can be used to create a wonderful learning project that they will be sure to refer to repeatedly.
This style of activity asks children to think about what they already know about a topic, what they want to learn about that topic and then what they actually learn about a given topic after further exploration. There are opportunities for writing, drawing and even doodling, if desired.
The Sacraments F3 activity focuses on the seven sacraments of the Catholic Church: Baptism, Confirmation, Holy Communion, Reconciliation, Marriage, Holy Orders, and Sacrament of the Sick.
The simplicity of this activity comes in the fact that it is composed of many similar styled F3 pieces combined to make a reference style resource.
The activity can be finished off in any number of ways, including using combine spines, metal brads, rings, or even yarn. Covers can be as fancy or as simple as they need to be. Artistic and inventive learners will really enjoy the many opportunities for drawing, doodling and creative note taking.
