St. Peter's Fishers of Men Game
Students Will Have Fun Playing St. Peter's Fishers of Men Game.
The catechetical focus of this fun St. Peter's Fishers of Men Game is Matthew 4:19 and teaching children how to behave as good Christians.
While standing in front of an overturned table, children will throw their net or cast their fishing line/pole behind the table. An adult is hidden behind the table and attaches an activity piece and piece/mini-bag of candy such as gummy fish to the line or net with a clothes pin or clip. The adult pulls on the line to signal the child to pull back their line or net, revealing the activity piece and the candy surprise.
The activity pieces provide a Bible verse and a variety of virtues needed to be a good follower of Christ. They will be taught that good fishers are honest, kind, gentle, patient, loving, thankful, and faithful.
An instruction sheet is provided in this download.
