Reinforce Phonics Skills with the Syllable Symphony of the Nativity and Epiphany Bingo Game.
Use the Syllable Symphony of the Nativity and Epiphany Bingo Game to introduce or review the concept of counting syllable sounds with children. Students can learn to say and spell words associated with these two solemnities. Players practice counting the syllables of familiar, thematic words, including child, born, kings, myrrh, swaddle, manger, adore, Magi, Bethlehem, gloria, nativity, Emmanuel, and many others. The sixty highlighted words contain one to four syllables.
This game has twenty (20) game boards, playing pieces, and instructions. (You need only to provide card markers such as buttons, rocks, macaroni, or coins.)
Just about any age can play and enjoy the Syllable Symphony of the Nativity and Epiphany Bingo Game. Reading is not a requirement as teachers or parents could read the words to players. In this activity, children need to match up the number of syllables in each word to a space with the correct number of notes on the game board.
