That Weekly Liturgy Lesson – 24th Sunday in Ordinary Time (Cycle C)
That Weekly Liturgy Lesson – 24th Sunday in Ordinary Time (Cycle C) Can Help Kids Connect with the Gospel.
Use That Weekly Liturgy Lesson – 24th Sunday in Ordinary Time (Cycle C) to help teach children the Parable of the Lost Sheep and that Jesus won't forget about us when we are lost. This lesson is based on the Gospel of St. Luke 15:1-10.
This week we are reminded of God’s great mercy and the strength of His dedication and love for each of His children on earth. We are all part of Christ’s flock and may become separated from Him through our own sinfulness. We must know that during that period of being “lost,” Jesus is patiently waiting for us to return to Him. When necessary, He will seek us out as did the shepherd in the parable of the lost sheep. He will not abandon us, but rather pour out his loving mercy on us when we repent and return to Him.
