That Weekly Liturgy Lesson - 2nd Sunday of Lent (Cycle C) Can Help Kids to Understand the Gospel.
Use That Weekly Liturgy Lesson - 2nd Sunday of Lent (Cycle C) to help teach children about the Transfiguration and that Jesus invites us to follow Him in our daily lives. The inspiration for this lesson is the Gospel of St. Luke 9:28-36, Christ's Transfiguration.
In this week’s Gospel, Jesus is transfigured in the presence of His apostles Peter, James, and John. This passage reminds us of Christ’s true divinity as the Son of God. Even though we cannot see Jesus in a human form with our own eyes, Christ still wants us to seek and find Him in our daily lives. We must search for and recognize God’s love and presence in our everyday lives.
