Focus on the Sunday Gospel for the Feast of the Holy Family.
Use this unit study to help teach children about the Holy Family and that all families are called to holiness. This lesson is based on Luke 2:41-52.
In this week’s Gospel, we encounter the Fifth Joyful Mystery of the Holy Rosary - the finding of the Child Jesus in the Temple. The Holy Family shows us that love, obedience, and faith and trust in God are what is required of all families. And, although all families are imperfect, they are still unique, loved by God, and special in their own way. All families are called to holiness in the imitation of the Holy Family.
