Focus on the Sunday Gospel to Celebrate the 3rd Sunday in Ordinary Time.

Use this unit study to help teach children about the start of Christ's Public Ministry and that we can all be disciples of Jesus. It is based on the Gospel of St. Matthew 4:12-23.

After returning from the wilderness, Jesus is ready to begin His public ministry. He calls His twelve Apostles, who are all humble working men. Christ doesn’t require that anyone who serves Him be perfect; rather, He loves and accepts everyone just as they are. We are each called to be disciples and share our love for Jesus with others.
