That Weekly Liturgy Lesson for Kids - 4th Sunday in Ordinary Time (Cycle A)
Focus on the Sunday Gospel to Celebrate the 4th Sunday in Ordinary Time.
Use this unit study to help teach children about the Beatitudes and that we should treat others as we want to be treated. It is based on the Gospel of St. Matthew 5:1-12.
When Christ talks about the Beatitudes in what is also known as the Sermon on the Mount, He tells us about the ways to be a good Christian. The Beatitudes show us the things that we should do to show our love for God. The Lord promises to reward our good efforts in following these eight guidelines. We must remember that our actions and behavior tell others how we expect to be treated by them as well.
