Focus on the Sunday Gospel for the 5th Sunday of Easter.

Use this unit study to help teach children that the Church helps us to follow Jesus.  It is based on the Gospel of St. John 14:1-12.

Jesus and the Father are one, united in love, that is the Holy Spirit. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.  No one can go to the Father except through Him.  We can think of Christ like a compass guiding us to eternal life.  Jesus gives us direction through His Word, teachings, life, and His Church.  We must learn all that we can about Jesus, not only to more easily follow Him but also so that we may lead others to Him as well.
