Help Young Catholics Understand the Difference Between a Shepherd and a Priest.

Use this simple Venn Diagram to help children draw similarities between a traditional shepherd and a priest - a spiritual shepherd of a different kind of flock. Spaces are provided for what makes each unique and how they are both similar to each other. This open-ended worksheet could be a good discussion starter or the lead for a lesson on Holy Orders, the priesthood, or church leadership. One could also use this for a lesson on Good Shepherd Sunday.

Topics to contrast could include: differences in tasks, responsibilities, care given, duties, skills needed, etc.
