Vocations: How Do They Serve God? Mini-Book
Help Kids Explore Servitude with the Vocations: How Do They Serve God? Mini-Book.
Use this simple prompted eight-page mini-book to examine how each of us is called to serve God in our unique and vital vocation. Each page asks learners to complete a writing prompt or sentence. Depending on the age of the learner, answers given may be simple or very detailed.
The prompts in the Vocations: How Do They Serve God? Mini-Book
What is a vocation? Does everyone have a vocation?
How can you serve God as a child?
How does a priest serve God?
How does a sister or nun serve God?
How does a spouse serve God?
How does a parent serve God?
How can a single person serve God?
You may choose to use this activity in several ways. Use it as a review of a past lesson presented on vocations, a discussion starter, an addition to a study, or as a homework or fact recall activity.
To complete this activity, print out the sheets and have students fill in the pages. Cut apart and staple the pages together. Glue into a notebook or onto one of our Mini-Book Keepsake Pages to create a library of your child's work or document their learning.
We encourage you to use resources you already have on hand or easily access online or from your parish library to fill in the needed information. Mini-books are also the perfect additions to unit studies, CCD or Religious Education classes, or an attachment to a learning notebook.
