Vocations Mobile Activity
Teach or Review Using the Fun Vocations Mobile Activity for Kids.
Teach young Catholics about different vocations, including the priesthood, religious life, marriage, and single life with a cute mobile. This cut-and-paste Vocations Mobile Activity may be used as a lesson to introduce students to the topic of vocations. It can also serve as a tool for review.
This mobile has four hanging pieces, one for each vocation. They include the priesthood, religious life, married life, and single life. As students prepare the individual pieces for the project, the teacher should explain each vocation. Some may want to have a question and answer period or discussion before or after the activity.
Each circular mobile piece gives a simple explanation for each vocation and a matching color image to provide visual reinforcement. References to the Catechism of the Catholic Church are provided on each piece. There are instructions in the download file.
This activity can be used when studying the Parable of the vineyard owner and the workers as presented in Matthew 22:1-14.
