Focus on the Sunday Gospel Using the That Weekly Liturgy Lesson for Kids - 6th Sunday in Ordinary Time (Cycle B).
That Weekly Liturgy Lesson for Kids - 6th Sunday in Ordinary Time (Cycle B) unit study can help teach children that God wants us to be prudent and make good choices. The inspiration for this lesson is the Gospel of St. Mark 1:40-45 - Jesus heals the man with leprosy.
In this week's Gospel, we witness Christ's compassion as he chooses to heal a man with leprosy. After healing him, the Lord instructed the man not to tell others about what He had done for him. Yet, the man made a poor choice and disobeyed Jesus’ command.
Like the ill man, God wants us to come to Him when we need help. Not only should we go to God, but we must also be obedient and prudent. We must always make good choices.
