Focus on the Sunday Gospel for the 2nd Sunday in Ordinary Time.

Use this unit study to help teach children about the Jesus' first miracle at the Wedding at Cana, the Second Luminous Mystery of the Holy Rosary.  The theme of this lesson is God can bless our work.  This lesson is based on John 2:1-11.

In this week’s Gospel, Jesus performs His first miracle at the wedding at Cana.  As the wine runs out, the servants are told by the Virgin Mary to do whatever Christ asks of them. They worked in obedience, and their effort was blessed and made useful by God.  We must remember that God can bless and make useful everything we do, no matter what our vocation or occupation is.
