Use this unit study to help teach children that Jesus is the King of the Universe, and He wants us to practice the Corporal Works of Mercy. This lesson is based on Christ's teaching in the Gospel of St. Matthew 25:31-46.
This liturgy lesson helps us to focus on recognizing that Jesus is the king of the world as well as the kingdom of Heaven. Christ cares for us, loves us, and even serves us. He rules over us with love and justice. Jesus is our leader, and He wants us to follow His example of leadership by caring, loving and serving one another.
