Create a Bulletin Board Lesson by Using the Who Do You Say That I Am Display Activity.

Need an engaging lesson to help Catholic kids think about whom Jesus is? Try our Who Do You Say That I Am Display Activity, which is perfect for a CCD class. Not only does it incorporate group discussion as a teaching tool, but it can accommodate any number of students. This CCD lesson can help children to learn about using our words to lift others up as well as give glory to God. Children will be encouraged to talk about the different familiar names for Jesus as well as His mission. This lesson is based on Mark 8:27-35.

How to Use the Who Do You Say That I Am Display Activity

This Religious Education lesson not only teaches about the titles and attributes of Christ but it also creates a unique display. Teachers may use the completed pieces to decorate a classroom, bulletin board, hallway, or learning area.

To use the lesson, first print the materials out to accommodate the number of students. Next, prepare the pieces as suggested in the instructions. Then, hold your class discussion using the lesson sheets for guidance. Finally, create the display as directed - a sample layout is shown.

Because this activity is specially designed for group use, it can comfortably accommodate a class of any size. And because just about everything you need is included in the lesson file, it is easy to deliver. Art supplies, a Bible, and materials to affix the display must be supplied separately. For instructors needing a bit of support, Scripture references, and CCC notations are provided.
