Help Introduce Diagramming Sentences to Young Children

This worksheet provides six opportunities for learners to diagram any simple sentence.  The sentence shall be written to answer the following prompts.

Who or what (subject)?
Does what (predicate)?

For example:  The boy tied his shoelaces.

(Who or What?) The boy  (Did what?) tied his shoelaces.

A title is provided for the topic of the sentences - this could be a date, subject, story title, etc.

This exercise works very well as an introduction to diagramming sentences.
