St. Catherine of Siena

Help young Catholics learn about Saint Catherine of Siena with fun, Catholic materials, and activities. St. Catherine of Siena was dedicated to penance, prayer, and works of charity. She was very passionate about the Church and its reform. The young saint wrote over four hundred letters of spiritual direction to many people from all walks of life. Catherine had the gifts of tears and stigmata, which revealed itself after her death in 1380. She was canonized in 1461 by Pope Pius II and declared a Doctor of the Church in 1970.
